Frequently Asked Questions about donation of CDC Vouchers 2024

Residents can pledge to donate the balance of their CDC Vouchers 2024 in three steps:
1) Visit the CDC Vouchers Scheme website at https://vouchers.cdc.gov.sg and click on ‘Donate CDC Vouchers 2024’
2) View list of Institutions of Public Character (IPCs) - select your preferred IPC from a list IPCs from different sectors and be directed to a FormSG to pledge the declaration of donation
3) Pledge your donation – Login via Singpass to pledge the entire balance of the household’s CDC Vouchers 2024 as of 31 December 2024 to the selected IPCIf your household have claimed or yet to claim your CDC Vouchers but wish to donate, you will be able to pledge the donation of your balance CDC Vouchers to your preferred IPC via FormSG.

From 1 December 2024 until 31 January 2025, residents will be able to pledge their donation of the balance CDC Vouchers 2024 to a preferred charity.
The CDC Vouchers 2024 will expire on 31 December 2024 and all Singaporean households are encouraged to utilise their vouchers within the validity period.

By submitting a donation declaration, the entire balance of your household’s CDC Vouchers 2024, as of 31 December 2024, will be donated to your preferred charity.

Yes. Residents that have pledged the donation of their balance CDC Vouchers 2024 can still utilise them until they expire on 31 December 2024. At the end of the donation period, CDCs/PA will tally the balance amount as of 31 December 2024 and transfer the amount to the respective IPCs from June 2025 onwards.

No. All pledged donations will be transferred as donated cash amounts to the chosen IPC.

As the CDC Vouchers expire on 31 December 2024, all unclaimed/ undonated CDC Voucher will lapse, and the amount will be returned to the Government for other national schemes. Therefore, households are encouraged to claim and utilise their CDC Vouchers within the validity period.

Households who wish to receive an email confirmation of their donation declaration may provide their email address during the form submission.

If you wish to share your CDC Vouchers, click on “Share” button to copy the unique voucher link and paste into any preferred messaging apps e.g. SMS/ WhatsApp/ Telegram. Please refer to illustration below.
Recipients are advised to be careful with sharing unique voucher links with others, as this would allow them to spend the household’s vouchers. To ensure that you safekeep your unique voucher links, we urge you to share only when necessary and to the right parties. We seek your understanding that there will be no reinstatement made for vouchers that were shared erroneously.

You do not have to go the CCs. If you would like to donate the balance of your vouchers, please go to vouchers.cdc.gov.sg/donate/ to submit your donation declaration.

Yes, as the cash value of the balance of your household’s CDC Vouchers will be donated to your preferred IPC, you may be eligible for tax deduction. Tax deduction may be provided by respective IPC, depending on the respective IPC’s policy on issuance of tax deduction, which will be reflected in the Year of Assessment 2026.
Tax deduction maybe accorded to (i) the person who claimed the CDC Vouchers on behalf of the household; or (ii) the first person from the household making the donation declaration if the household has yet to claim the CDC VouchersCDCs will share your details with your preferred IPC after 31 January 2025 i.e. last day of donation, for them to assess and issue the tax-deduction receipt directly, if any.

Residents will be able to donate the balance of their vouchers to one preferred IPC.

There are more than 100 charities, from different sectors such as Arts, Heritage, Environment, Sports, Health, etc

No, residents will only be able to pledge the donation of the balance of their household’s CDC Vouchers to one IPC listed on the CDC Vouchers website.
